Shuban Gouru

Born in Huntsville, Alabama, I moved to Morrisville in 2009 then to Cary in 2013, and the Triangle has been home ever since. I grew up playing on the courts at Cary Tennis Park, attended public and charter schools here, and finished a dual major at UNC Chapel Hill. After nearly two decades here, I know the neighborhoods, schools, and communities intimately.

I'm an entrepreneur at heart, always looking for better ways to serve people. At 15, I founded Pitch Labs, a nonprofit with a team of over 90 that reached more than 200,000 entrepreneurs worldwide, and I still build products on the side.

My real estate career began as a broker at a development firm, moved to acquisitions at a value-add student housing firm, and now I help clients find their dream home and next investment on the path to financial freedom. My background means I see every property through three lenses: how much you love it, what it is today, and all that it could be for you.

Outside of work, you'll find me training for a triathlon, playing tennis, trying new restaurants around the Triangle, or scouring commercial listings for my next deal.
