With over 20 years’ experience in the real estate industry, I can honestly say that I truly love my career and the life/relationships it has afforded me. From the very beginning, I gravitated towards Real Estate. After graduating from Hofstra University, I went to work immediately in Commercial Real Estate. I was responsible for marketing properties and shopping centers to Big Box Retailers. I then branched out my experience into marketing office buildings, but still held a disconnect between buyers and sellers and marketing concrete spaces. In 2005, I decided to get my real estate license and started pursuing buyers, sellers and investors in the Residential Real Estate Market. I quickly fell in love and was hooked from the start! Friends, family and clients chuckle when I say that I have not worked a day in real estate since the switch. My clients quickly realize my enthusiasm and witness me in action – they wholeheartedly believe it and that has earned their trust and respect through the years. My enthusiasm comes from helping buyers and sellers realize their own dreams. My experience with lenders, appraisers, engineers, investors and various other vendors has given me the foundation I need to not only negotiate great terms and solid deals, but to confidently advise my clients along their journey. It is such a wonderful feeling and honor to not only help a client; but to then call them my friends and repeat business together through the years. Most of my business is referrals from past clients or business owners that have seen me in action. My career has come full circle for me as I am now helping my client’s children realize their own dreams of home ownership as well…. That was a true A-ha moment for me and a life goal I didn’t even realize I was shooting for but now strive for! Besides buying and selling residential properties, I have also helped many investors grow their businesses and investment portfolios. As a roll-up my sleeves DIY-er, I have learned the most from my investors and I will gladly join in with demo and will help with design choices. By being hands-on with investors, I have increased my knowledge of construction and business ten-fold. I can fully understand and appreciate the investors bottom line and I make sure we stick to it!! With my experience and continual drive to learn and educate myself and clients, I have now decided to grow my business as a Broker with Navigate Realty. I find that I work very easily with most people. I have a very diverse background which allows me to understand people’s needs and really be able to listen carefully to form a plan of action that works best for the client. I would consider myself a Relocation Specialist. I am here to help alleviate the stress of buying/selling multiple properties and relocating your family seamlessly (fur-babies too) with as little inconvenience as possible. I can help coordinate services and timelines that work best for you! I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE working with first time home buyers (and their parents - lol)!! The enthusiasm of 1 st time home buyers reminds me why I started and continue to love Real Estate!! I love to educate and help others realize their dreams. I am a firm believer that the only dumb question is the one not asked. Which means… I will most likely answer your text at 2 am. I have both personal and professional experience with new construction. My increased knowledge base from working with investors has helped me extensively with understanding construction and time lines with both new construction and major renovations. On a personal note, I own a home in the Wake Forest/Rolesville area – which is booming with growth right now. I am married with 3 children and 2 pups. My oldest is currently attending App State in beautiful Boone, NC. My ‘middle’ is a Sophomore at Wake Tech and hoping to transfer to NC State in the Fall for veterinary medicine. My youngest is a Junior at Wake Forest HS, so I am well versed with Wake County Schools. When I have free time, I enjoy getting myself lost kayaking in the beautiful surrounding lakes and rivers. My husband and I also love creating DIY projects and hanging with the kids while doing simpler things like camping, traveling and trying out new restaurants. As a family we attend as many local events as possible and Wake Forest always has plenty to do!! You can always find us at Friday Night on White, Six Sundays in the Spring and most community/school events. I hope to see you around town!
