We had no idea what benefit a realtor could/would offer but knew that we couldn’t do this alone! After months of praying, searching for houses on our own, and contacting realtors who wouldn’t listen to what we wanted, the night came when we got a call from Jesse Maynard and we knew, from that moment, that she was an answer to prayer. From the moment we said “Hello”, we felt a genuine and sincere desire from her to help us. She listened to what we wanted in our first house, she asked us questions about our desires/needs that we didn’t even think about, and immediately started making a list of action items that she was going to take to start searching for us. No more than 24 hours later, she was emailing prospective communities, possible new builds, and suggestions and ideas for how we could hit the big needs/desires we wanted in our first home. This went on for months, and she did not give up on us. Each day was exciting to hear from Jesse – What did she find? What intel was she able to gather? She would drive to communities all over the Raleigh, Cary, Durham, and surrounding areas, talking to builders, looking at prospective home sites, Facetiming with us, and taking videos/pictures to help us find “the one”. Eventually, Jesse found EXACTLY what we were looking for and in the EXACT area we wanted. It was a new construction site, where the last of the model that we would want was going to go on the market. Jesse coached us through the submission process and, sure enough, we won! To say that Jesse was excited for us is a complete understatement! But, she also met us where we were – in a state of anxiety and feeling very overwhelmed. Before we could even ask, she sent an email that detailed/explained the ENTIRE building process, what she would be doing, and the items we needed to take care of. Again, an answer to prayer – we felt so comforted and knew we were in good hands (in what was a very ambiguous situation for us!). Over the next several months, Jesse drove out to our homesite, met with the builder, took pictures and videos, and shared updates with us, daily, all the way through closing! Jesse helped us explore options for lenders, she advised on third-party inspections we should do, and ensure that the building process was going as planned and without any glitches, issues, or problems. Because of Jesse, we were able to close RIGHT ON TIME! Jesse was right by our side for every walkthrough, official meeting with the builder, third-party inspection, and Closing! We could not have been more appreciative of all the incredible help, assistance, guidance, and support that Jesse was.
