Chad Underwood

After earning my master’s degree in Sociology of Culture from UC Davis, I started my career in the world of artisan cheese and craft beer, where I learned the power of connection and community. That experience taught me how to meet people where they are, to listen, to understand their stories, and to appreciate what makes each person unique. It also showed me how deeply people care about creating spaces that reflect who they are, which is what led me to real estate.

Today, I am proud to call the Triangle home and even prouder to help others do the same. As a broker with Navigate Realty, I approach every client relationship with curiosity, warmth, and care. Whether I am helping first-time buyers find their footing or guiding families into their forever homes, my goal is to make the process as seamless and rewarding as possible. Real estate, to me, is about people first, understanding their needs, earning their trust, and celebrating their wins right alongside them.

After more than a decade in this community, I am grateful to be part of a place that values connection as much as I do. I carry the principles of hard work, integrity, and outstanding service into every transaction, always striving to exceed expectations and build relationships that last long after closing.

When I am not working with clients, I love cooking something comforting, reading a good book, or spending time with my wife, Ashley, and our daughter, Jeanie. They are a daily reminder that home is not just a place, it is where the best parts of life unfold.
